What is The Public Health Corner?

The Public Health Corner is an online platform run by University of Toronto students and hosted by the University of Toronto Journal of Public Health (UTJPH). This platform is a place for students and early career researchers to share their research findings, knowledge, ideas, and opinions with the general public.

The Public Health Corner aims to increase the accessibility of public health research, knowledge, opinions, and ideas. We encourage submissions from students, educators, and early career researchers (i.e., postdoctoral fellows, new faculty members, non-academic researchers) that are written in language for the general public. These submissions may be outside of the author’s primary area of research or expertise, but the author should ensure that they have the skills, experience, and/or knowledge required to disseminate, comment on, and cover the topic.
